How do I place an order?
Orders are placed online. Browse our selection of cakes, select your cake and Add to Cart. Select a date to receive your order and proceed through to the Checkout and complete your payment.
Is there a minimum order?
No there is no minimum order.
What payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex. Cash is not accepted.
Can I walk in and purchase a cake from Annandale?
Our Annandale shop is where our kitchen is and we do Pick Up from that location. You might get lucky and we may have a spare cake for you to purchase. However to avoid disappointment it is best to order online.
How many days before do I need to order?
Our cakes need a 2 day lead in time unless we're fully booked. If you want your cake for the weekend, it's best to order the week before to avoid disappointment.
Cut off for Saturday orders is Thursday 10pm.
How do I store my cake?
Your cake can be stored in the fridge. Please remove it from the fridge at least 2 hours before serving. Your cake can be displayed for 6 hours at an ambient temperature.
Can I get my cake delivered to a venue?
Yes you can have your cake delivered straight to the venue of your event. Please let us know that your cake is for a venue and the starting time of your event. You can write this information in the message box available at checkout.
Please note we won't deliver to a wharf.
Can I make alterations to a cake?
Small alterations will be accepted for example colour changes. Please let us know in the text box provided on the product page and we'll contact you if there's any extra charge.
Once your order is placed we accept updates and changes up until 2 days before your cake is due. In the 48hrs before your cake is due we do not accept any more changes.
Do you make custom cakes?
It's best to choose one of our cakes that aligns the most with your vision and we can make small alterations to fit your dream cake.
Do you make Gender Reveal Cakes?
Any cake from the website can be made into a gender reveal cake. Please order your cake in VANILLA flavour and add a note that your cake is a gender reveal. This step is important as all text messages and emails will state Vanilla flavour and keep the gender secret.
After your order has been placed a trusted person can call or email with the gender and we'll make your cake pink inside for a girl or blue for a boy.

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accomodate any dietary requirements but we are working hard in the kitchen to come up with delicious solutions for you.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver all over Sydney. Approximately 50km radius from Annandale.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is based kms from Annandale. The delivery rate for your suburb will be calculated at checkout.
Can I select a time and date?
Your cake will be delivered on your selected date. Our delivery is from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8-6pm on Saturdays. We are unable to accommodate specific delivery times. If you need a 4 hour delivery window, please let us know and we'll try our best to accommodate you.
Will I know when the driver is approaching?
You will receive a text the morning of delivery with a delivery window and tracking information. You will be able to track your driver in real time and have an estimated time of arrival.
Can I change my delivery address?
You can change your delivery address up until 48 hrs before your delivery is due.
Please contact us to change your delivery address and you will receive confirmation that it has been updated.
Can I change my order?
Flour Lane will accept changes to orders made with 48hrs notice. All changes need to be via email with the order number quoted in the email.
Can I get a refund?
Flour Lane will give refunds for cancelled orders with at least 48 hours notice. The full refund amount is given less the fees. The refund will be credited to the card that was used for the purchase. Once the refund has been processed it may take up to 7 days to see the funds in your account.
